GLOTTENHAM COVID STATEMENT

As Covid restrictions are lifted across the country we are glad to welcome guests back, but we have kept a few systems in place as they worked well, and continue to offer reassurance to those who visit us

YOUR VISIT 2022

If you're a regular visitor, when you next come you'll find some changes in place, and if you're planning a first visit, then this is what you can expect:

Our four glamping accommodation spaces are spread over the site so you are in your own space - naturally. Each unit has it’s own toilet and fresh water supply. Rossetti and de Glottyngham now have camping wash stands on their platforms so that they do not need to share the washstand at the top of the site with Bodichon.

The cottage is self contained, but the cleaning regime and check in will be to the same standard as during the covid pandemic

CHECKING IN

We will send you all the information about our non contact check in when you book, including directions and a site map. Please make sure that you know which unit you are staying in as each unit will have been cleaned and sanitised prior to guest’s arrival. There are barrows available for each unit for transferring your luggage. We have kept a self check in to streamline arrivals, and also avoid any late check in fees.

HOW THINGS WORK

We have signposted all equipment with instructions and each unit has additional signs to explain how things work.

THE HONESTY SHOP / LOG STORE

We have rebuilt an outdoor honesty shop that sells firewood, kindling and charcoal. You will find it set back from the carpark. The round building in the carpark is now used as a base for courses and can, by arrangement, be used by group bookings.

ACTIVITIES ON SITE

We are available for prebooked courses, which we detail in our welcome letter. We will also inform any groups if there are wider activities happening to which they might like to join. During August there are often activities running from the pop up campsite. Your welcome letter will also include a link to our friends at Fisherwood Farm who are doing alpaca cream teas, which many people really enjoyed last year.

We've always had very high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in our accommodation, but our cleaning regimes are now even more stringent to ensure that you are as safe as possible during your stay.

LAUNDRY

Guest will be please to hear that we have returned to providing all bed linens, towels, and soft furnishings in all units. Please be aware that it can get cold at either end of the season and, although we provide blankets, some guests may feel happier to bring a few extra. A beanie is possibly the best thing when its frosty outside

HANDWASHING and GUEST CLEANING

In each of our accommodations soap and hand sanitiser is provided. We also provide cleaning products and an antiviral spray. As each unit has it’s own water supply and toilet it is the guest’s responsibility to keep their own areas clean for the duration of their stay

RUBBISH & RECYCLING

On the glamping site, please ensure that all food waste is in the compost bin bags, and then placed in the larger composting areas before leaving. Guests will be requested to, as always, remove all waste from the site. We will supply you with rubbish sacks for this.
